After a challenging fitness routine, a protein shake sounds like a good idea. It leaves you feeling satisfied, fuels your muscles, and it’s tasty!
But what if you don’t work out as often as others or you just want it as a protein-rich snack? Or perhaps you just can’t seem to find a protein shake that suits your taste buds.
Well, registered dietitians would say that getting the proper amount of protein your body needs every day can be difficult, especially if you maintain a plant-based diet. That is why adding a high-quality protein supplement is important.
Adding a protein supplement, like a protein bar, protein powder, or high-quality collagen, is a great way to get the essential amino acids, also known as the “complete” protein sources.
This is where the Muscle Milk Smoothie comes in. It is a protein smoothie shake that is packed with 20 grams of protein and made with Greek-style yogurt.
This muscle milk smoothie can promote exercise recovery, help build lean muscle, provide sustained energy, keep your body in a healthy protein balance.

Quality
Proteins are one of the most essential nutrients in our diet because the amino acids they contain serve as the building blocks of cells in our bodies.
Muscle Milk protein shake delivers high-quality proteins and nutrients to conveniently help people bridge the gap between their meals.
Muscle Milk promises that the protein shakes they make are something that will help people become stronger each day and will amplify their lifestyle.
Muscle Milk Protein Shake: Who is it Best for?
Muscle Milk protein shakes are best for people who work out, those who are mildly active, and those who have a busy lifestyle but want to stay fit as the product is small and you can carry it along with you, on-the-go.
Of course, protein shakes (Muscle Milk) can be consumed by gym enthusiasts and athletes who want to improve their performance, increase muscle mass, and promote exercise recovery.
What Do People Say About it?
Amazon
Of thousands of reviews on Amazon, the blueberry and strawberry banana protein shakes gained an above-average rating.
A customer from the United States said, “All the Muscle Milk protein smoothies are good, but blueberry is my favorite. Being on an all-liquid protein diet is hard to get used to, but these make it so that I don’t go crazy. Totally filling, lower-calorie than the other flavors, and super tasty.”
However, another Amazon user gave the Muscle Milk smoothie a low rating because it’s “too sweet.”
YouTube
Hydra Gains chose the chocolate flavor instead of the blueberry or strawberry banana smoothie. He said on YouTube that for six years of working out, he never took Muscle Milk.
But when he did, he was “beyond surprised.” “I gotta give it four out of five.
However, he adds that “the powder form would always be better because you get a lot more for your money’s worth than a little one like this,” referring to the protein shake.
The Verdict: Should You Buy It?
After a taste test, we think that the protein shake from Muscle Milk is worth buying. It has a nice fruit flavor. And although many said they find the blueberry flavor sweet, we think it’s not super sweet at all, just right.
It is well-packaged and the protein shakes make healthy snacks for a quick recovery drink. The texture of the drink is also nice, not like the traditional protein drinks but tastes good.
Of course, protein shakes or Muscle Milk protein powder are not meant to replace food. They cannot replicate the benefits of whole foods, such as vegetables and fruits. But they can plug dietary gaps.
They are healthy, convenient, and can be taken on-the-go!
